Sony BMG, Warner to Invest in Chinese Joint Venture

Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group recently announced that they have invested in Access China Media Solutions. Access China is a joint venture in China between Japan's Access and US Melodeo, created to develop technologies for downloading music and other multimedia content to mobile phones. Both Sony BMG and Warner declined to reveal financial details of their investments, but did state that the joint venture would focus on local content.
